NEW YORK CENTRAL RR MOHAWK PATTERN DINNER OR BASE PLATE
This 10-1/8” dinner or base plate was made for the New York Central Railroad in their streamline era Mohawk pattern. The plate was made by Syracuse in 1939 and is in excellent condition. They were apparently used exclusively on the NYC’s streamlined Empire State Express, which entered service in 1941. Buyer pays $9.00 shipping.
